Nigel Don MSP

Nigel Don was elected to represent North East Scotland in the Scottish Parliament at the 2007 election.

In the Parliament, Nigel sits on the Justice Committee and is also a Substitute Member of the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee. He is Parliamentary Liaison Officer to the Cabinet Secretary for Justice.

Prior to his election to the Scottish Parliament Nigel was a self employed musician: performer, teacher, arranger and composer. He was also SNP Group Convenor on Dundee City Council, having represented Ninewells Ward on Dundee City Council from 2003 to May 2007 and then one of the seats in the new multi-member Lochee ward from May - September 2007.
